Miscellaneous: leather, wood veneer

Our in-house archival materials are as follows:

Somerset Radiant White Velvet - 330 gsm (500gsm is also available on special request)
This paper is a bright white paper, 100% cotton, acid-free and moldmade. This gives a bright, sharp image with brilliant color and a smooth texture. Sheet Size 35 x 46.75”

Arches for IRIS - 300 gsm is a warmer more textured paper, 100% cotton, acid-free and moldmade. This gives a more saturated image where the texture enhances the visual appeal of the image. Sheet Size 34 x 46”

Arches 88 - 300 gsm is an unsized paper, very smooth and more yellow in color, 100% cotton , acid-free and mold made. This paper gives a very saturated image and, depending on your image, can produce a color shift towards warmer tones. Sheet Size 22 x 30"

Canvas - This is a pure cotton canvas that has been pre-coated to give a brilliant semi-gloss, sharp image. Sheet Size 34 x 46”

Lexan, mylar and high-resolution glossy stocks are available on request.

Your choice of material affects the longevity of your prints. In addition your choice of coatings can adversely affect your prints. UV coatings can adversely interact with the inks decreasing the life of your prints. The coatings that do not interact adversely do not necessarily protect significantly against fading because much of the fading is caused by light wavelengths outside the UV spectrum. The one thing that they do provide some protection against are the adverse effects of moisture and for that alone they should be considered for prints which may be displayed without glass or other protection.
